Considered a mutant already with his blend of animal and human characteristics, Sonic (he refuses to let others know his real name at all costs) also boasts superhuman speed and reflexes, enhanced endurance, a healing factor, enhanced senses (part of his superspeed, he can process things very quickly), and an unusual synergy with with an energy primarily found in rare multi-colored crystals referred to in legend as Chaos Emeralds. When not being way past cool and continuing to discover the extent and limits of his powers, he uses his special gifts to antagonize a megalomaniacal doctor/roboticist named Ivo Robotnik. Preferred nicknames from Sonic?: "Ro-butt-nik" and "Eggman" (an insulting name in reference to the man's girth and shape).
